When I wore the hat of a government worker years ago I had the opportunity to cross some of the most beautiful bridges in my country. However, none of the pictures I took (with a film camera) have survived thanks to a flood and a few house moves. I wish I could go back and visit all those bridges again and take pictures of them. So the ones I’m sharing now are all very recent ones I’ve taken, made meaningful because they were seen with my family and each one brings back sweet memories…

Hi everyone.

I’ve been fighting the flu since we got back from a short vacation last week. I wanted to thank everyone for stopping by.

I had the opportunity to test the camera settings during our holiday and may I just say this was one of the more decent shots I took.

Entrance generally refers to the place of entering like a gate or door, or the permission to do so. 

That is Jake’s theme for The Sunday Post this week. I happen to enjoy taking pictures of doorways, doors and arches that mark the boundaries of where I am to the place where I would like to be. Here are a few of my recent favorites:
