Hope is the emotional state which promotes the belief in a positive outcome related to events and circumstances in one’s life. Despair is the opposite of hope. Hope is the “feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best” or the act of “looking forward to something with desire and reasonable confidence” or “feeling that something desired may happen”. Other definitions are “to cherish a desire with anticipation to desire with expectation of obtainment or to expect with confidence.
This is the theme for this Jakesprinter’s Sunday Post this week.
My Beloved celebrated his 47th birthday the other day. We’ve been sharing our life journey with each other for 8 years now. Birthdays are always a source of hope for me. His is the most recent one we celebrated. Mine was in December so I’m still buoyed by the hope from that time…the Hope that we will continue this wonderful journey together for many more years to come…
Love…HOPES…all things… (1 Corinthians)

Your post, your photographs, the quote from the bible, all just right for Jake’s word prompt “Hope”! I enjoyed your post today. Thank you, Penny
You are very welcome, Penny. Oh, happy birthday too!
