Weekly Photo Challenge: Purple!

I like purple. My Dearest Daughter and Son-Man like it, too. Purple makes me think of my rocking chair and relaxing on it while gazing out the window or just letting my thoughts take me wherever they want to go.

I don’t have a purple rocking chair but this is one of my favorite blankets and a favorite throw-pillow case on the special rocking chair my Beloved got for me for this week’s Photo Challenge:

Purple. Another color post! These artichokes in full bloom are absolutely gorgeous and the purple doesn’t leave room for any other color in this photo. Subtle, waning purple of a sunset; vibrant purple of grapes or eggplant – what kind of purple caught your photographic eye?
