Rain!
This week it started to rain every day.
It’s wreaking havoc on our air-dried laundry,
Yet it refreshes everyone stuck indoors without air-conditioning.
And brings life to the outdoor plants that have turned brown,
Even to the leaves of the trees that line our streets.
It’s making the birds sing joyfully in the morning.
Oh, I love the rain!
I can’t wait to let my children play in the rain.
To feel God’s love through the water pouring.
The heavens are laughing at the earth rejoicing
For the rains are here again!
