Yes, this is a bit late for Mother’s Day.
I had a fine Mother’s Day – at the end of it I was tired but filled with love. Love from my children and my Beloved. Love for my own Mother and my mother-in-law. Love for all the other Mothers I know, past and present. Love from God for bestowing on me the gift of motherhood.
I gave my Dearest Daughter this TOMY MagicSketcher for her 3rd birthday to encourage her to doodle and to help develop her fine motor skills. She has come up with many praiseworthy works on that “magical toy”. This is one of the most memorable she has produced…
She came up with this love-note-greeting about 2 days before the actual day. She wanted to surprise me with her special present. She came up with this through her own effort and initiative – without any coaching at all from anyone. The idea and content are all hers. It was a gift of love she told me. And it made my day.
It may not be Mother’s Day today. But I want to give all the mothers out there who are reading this now a heartfelt Congratulations – only God knows how hard you try, day in and day out, to be the best mother you can be. If ever you felt or feel unappreciated, please remember that God loves you and knows what you’re doing
The LORD does not look at the things man looks at.
Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.
(1 Samuel 16:20 NIV)
